Hi, is there a reason why we must keep .xmi as the file extension for xmi data? Are we even "wrong" here? Eclipse UML2 Tools stores xmi data in .uml files, and AndroMDA also registered the .uml extension for (EMF) UML2 models and profiles.
The problem is that we use .uml for our own project file format, which might get in the way. I'm just concerned about model interoperability. BTW: I'm about to commit the addition of .uml extension for loading profiles, otherwise I'm in trouble with EMF profiles (AndroMDA).
