Backlog Grooming
Dec 11, 2017 Attendees: Tal, Guy, Tom, Vish Sprint 3 concluded. Sprint 4 started. Podling report submitted last Thursday to mentors. John A processing. Release process has been started by Tom (last Thursday), but I got stuck working on Key Gen. Arthur repaired website (yesterday) latest patches appear to be synched. Discussed website simplification. Backlog grooming... Current sprint 4 will be 4 weeks long to take into account the fact that most folks will not be around for the la st two weeks of December. Tal will look into most critical bugs reported and triage them. Once analyzed, Tal will ask others (Tom, Vish, etc...) to propose fixes. This will help the team scale out a bit more. Tal: raises one meta issue. Last few sprints, we had new people. We've been having a lot of trivial PRs/etc... pu shed. We need people to start picking up more important PRs. Pick up the pace and focus on adding real values t o the project. Add a tag to indicate "suitable for newcomers" to attack as a first set of PRs to learn the process. Create a new filter in Jira to search for these tasks so they can pick from that list to start. Tom: add this to GettingStarted for Devs guide. Tal needs help on support emails on the list, if possible.
