I'd like to move this back into trunk alongside the new Aires JPA implementation. The new JPA module/s depend on Java 7 and we still use Java 6 (as well as 7 and 8). Yes, I know Oracle no longer support Java 6 but IBM (and maybe others) still do.
I want to keep with the approach of 'trunk-based-development' rather than making branches. So, I just wanted to explore whether this would cause problems. I'd be fine with excluding it from the top level reactor pom, using a profile 'flag' to switch on building jpa-1.x (ie jpa-1.x disabled in the build by default). Cheers, Jeremy
