Arnoud Glimmerveen commented on ARIES-2061:
-------------------------------------------

[~amichai] I agree that this and ARIES-2120 describe the same limitation
regarding resource handling of imported services.

> DistributionProvider provides no means to cleanup resources of imported
> endpoint(s)

> Key: ARIES-2061
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARIES-2061
> Project: Aries
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Remote Service Admin
> Affects Versions: rsa-1.16.1
> Reporter: Arnoud Glimmerveen
> Priority: Major
>
> The DistributionProvider provides means for an implementation to become aware
> when the endpoint is closed allowing the implementation to cleanup/free any
> resources it used for the export.
> For imported endpoints however I don't see a direct way looking at the
> DistributionProvider interface to become aware of the service that was
> created for that endpoint is no longer being used/needed.
> I have seen that the the core handles the removal of ImportRegistration(s),
> but it is not propagated towards the DistributionProvider.
