Agenda: * Trouble with biweekly call setup: should we move to a new invite? To do: propose on the mailing list * Alignment issues (blockers for 0.15). Discuss status of code review, state of forwards/backwards compatibility testing. To do: open JIRAs for the tests (manual for the moment) that we want to run before cutting the release. Open a JIRA for providing option to write the old message format (in order to help with compat with e.g. Spark that has an older Arrow version). * Other blockers for 0.15 (nightly builds, tests). Micah to make the Java Large* type issues be not blockers. * Sparseness: Wes says feedback from VLDB is that we may get more traction in the analytic database community if we supported some encodings. Important to make sure that the format is extensible.
