Hello, Joel Lubinitsky has proposed adding bulk ingestion support to Arrow Flight SQL [1]. This provides a path for uploading an Arrow dataset to a Flight SQL server to create or append to a table, without having to know the specifics of the SQL or Substrait support on the server. The functionality mimics similar functionality in ADBC. This is the second attempt at a vote [3].
Joel has provided reference implementations of this for C++ and Go at [2], along with an integration test. The vote will be open for at least 72 hours.
