This is an old discussion, and I finalized found time to check our web site's compliance with Apache requirements.
- Our site: https://asterixdb.incubator.apache.org/index.html - Apache web site requirements: http://www.apache.org/foundation/marks/pmcs.html - Our spreadsheet with people's comments: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nxUo52ftmwwjZfUhRtkeay0o67trFC1XVJoSx1qcs-8/edit#gid=0 I went through the requirements, and found the following issues. They are mainly for Ian, who is maintaining the site. Requirement: "All primary links to the project as a whole must point directly to the homepage, and not to alternate sites or domains." Issue: Our documentation is not hosted by Apache. We are missing the following links, which seem to be recommended: "License" should link to: http://www.apache.org/licenses/ "Sponsorship" or "Donate" should link to: http://www.apache.org/foundation/sponsorship.html "Thanks" should link to: http://www.apache.org/foundation/thanks.html "Security" should link to either to a project-specific page detailing how users may securely report potential vulnerabilities, or to the main http://www.apache.org/security/ page All projects must feature some prominent link back to the main ASF homepage at http://www.apache.org/ (see below) Link back to www.apache.org: All project and subproject homepages must include a prominent link to the main http://www.apache.org homepage.PROJECT METADATA: we are missing on the list http://www.apache.org/foundation/marks/list/. Maybe we didn't provide a "DOAP - Description Of A Project" entry.
