How about configuring RAT to ignore .../hyracks/hyracks-hadoop-compat?
Solves that problem once, and for everyone.
On one hand that’s true, on the other hand it leaves a footprint of a
non-existing project in the code base (assuming that the RAT
configuration is part of the code base).
Talking about RAT: Do you know if we could move the excludes from the
POM into an excludes file that can be used by the maven build and when
running RAT on the command line?
