Here's the rationale for downgrading Jetty to v8.x:
- Some customers reported seeing the bug where Atlas UI does not load. Server
side logs show _SharedBlockingCallback$BlockerTimeoutException_ exception.
Based on some research it appears that the current Jetty version has a [Bug
472621|https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=472621] that has been
addressed in v9.3. Now v9.3 and some versions of v9.4 have other reported bugs
related to SSL behavior.
- After discussion with Ambari team, it appeared that they had encountered
similar bug with Jetty. They thought it was safe to downgrade to v8. This
appears to be more stable than the more recent Jetty version.
