The issue is because of a very specific lineage structure.
when certain input nodes are deleted and if at the same time, there exists a
circular lineage in the structure (which also contains deleted nodes) - then
enabling the "Hide Processes" & "Hide Deleted Entities" filters causes the
whole lineage to be erased from the view.
