Dear Apache Atlas Community, My name is *Surafel Temesgen*, and I’m excited to introduce a project I’ve been working on called *Debo* — a lightweight, unified infrastructure management platform designed to monitor and control various components of the Hadoop and big data ecosystem, including *Apache Atlas*. ------------------------------ 💡 What is Debo?
*Debo* is a *desktop-based*, open-source tool written in C that provides *real-time visibility* and *basic operational control* over a wide range of big data services. It currently supports: - *HDFS, YARN, Hive, Kafka* - *Flink, Spark, Zookeeper, HBase* - *Atlas, Ranger, Tez, Phoenix, Presto, Hue*, and more Debo’s mission is to simplify the complexity of managing distributed systems by offering a *single CLI and GUI dashboard* to connect with all these services—making it easier for administrators and developers to observe and act in real time. ------------------------------ 📣 Incubator Proposal & Feedback Request Debo has been submitted as a proposal to the *Apache Incubator* and is currently in search of *3 PMC sponsors* to support incubation.
