1. verified hashes for apache-atlas-2.5.0-sources.tar.gz 2. verified the signature 3. successfully built using docker 4. verified install and startup of Atlas in docker containers, with RDBMS and Solr stores 5. verified install and startup of Atlas in docker containers, with HBase and Solr stores 6. verified setup of Atlas hooks for Hive and HBase 7. verified that metadata changes in Hive and HBase are notified to Atlas by hooks 8. verified import functionality in Hive and HBase 9. successfully ran quick_start 10. search: performed quick search, basic search and DSL search 11. classification: create, delete, associate, disassociate, update, propagation, search 12. business metadata: create, add/update/remove on entities, search 13. glossary: create/update/delete, add/remove on entities, search 14. verified entity audits for above operations Found import-kafka.sh failure due to missing libraries in its class path. I filed ATLAS-5268 to track this issue. This issue needs to be addressed in 2.5.0 release. -1 for rc1.
