Wrap the thrift calls in $q and $http service for better error handling and UX.

Migrate the new Scheduler UI to use angular-thrift library instead of using
thrift library directly for the following reasons:
a) The angular thrift-library integrates better with angular since it uses
better use of angular services.
b) Angular thrift library can be installed via bower.
