[avalon-components] pending cleanup

I've archived

avalon-components/
        apps
        src
        lib
        connection
        datasources
        scheduler
        sockets
        store
        threads
        tools
at http://avalon.apache.org/historiccvs/components, in my homedir on 
minotaur, and on my local machine. Can some peeps please also archive 
the files in the historiccvs?

I've removed all these directories but the 'src' directory from the cvs. 
I did not remove 'src' as it is not empty. Steve, what's the status of 
that? Will it be emptied, or do we leave it?
