Having the same location without any modification can be somewhat misleading.
As a compromise I did this:
<dynamic>${location}
My bad. That would be <generated> instead of <dynamic>:
<generated>parent.xml:43:22 <generated><generated>parent.xml:43:22
I like the prefix and seeing how many levels of generated elements we have at a glance--but something shorter might be better suited.
