My thread "Fortress + Cornerstone?" on avalon-users raised the questions whether there are already concrete plans to enhance fortress to use the new avalon meta package instead or additional to the existing fortress metadata architecture.
The cornerstone components provide up to this time only phoenix-style block descriptors, and it would be nice to use them "out of the box" in fortress and merlin, too - using avalon meta descriptors. Any plans or roadmap for fortress supporting avalon-meta? Obstacles?
