Which is usually a good time for everyone to step away from the keyboard for
a moment.
If one pauses to actually read these threads one realizes a couple of
things:
* There's no reason to draw arbitrary lines in the sand dividing people.
* Everyone has a mix of views on the subjects at hand
* Everyone wants to move forward and have consensus
* Consensus != agree with me
* Some people are tired and discouraged
* We're often arguing over fine lines and abstract concepts instead of
specifying clear goals and building on common ground
My suggestion is that if you're getting upset or discouraged to drop the
threads for a few hours. Clear your mind then review what's been said.
This doesn't have to be so tough or emotional! :)
