Hello.
I'm going to collect some JIRA issues for wanted documentation. I hope to
write some of this myself, but everyone else is more than welcome to join
in:
1. "Why Avalon" [CENTRAL-5]
A short explanation of why someone should use Avalon. This will
be linked to from the front page. Beginnings at:
http://www.apache.org/~farra/avalon/why-avalon.html
2. "Overview" [CENTRAL-6]
A short overview of the various Avalon components and site layout.
Will be linked to from front page

3. "Avalon in Five Minutes" [CENTRAL-7]
A quick functional intro to Avalon. Involves installing Merlin and
running one or two or three "Hello World" type apps. Explains the
basics of how each works.
4. "Avalon Developers Tutorial"
A more complete tutorial that shows a fully functional Avalon-based
application, preferably one using several of the facilities, good
source code comments, deployment techniques, etc. Looking for
suggestions on application type.
5. Complete Avalon Tutorials
We have several 'basic' and 'advanced' tutorials. We need these
reviewed as well as additions such as writing facilities,
embedding merlin in various environments, deployment options, etc.
