I didn't have time to look more on this, but so far I didn't find a way to use
decimal values. Even the [examples|https://docs.rs/avro-rs/0.13.0/avro_rs/] use
plain integer:

record.put("decimal_fixed",
Decimal::from(9936.to_bigint().unwrap().to_signed_bytes_be()));
record.put("decimal_var",
Decimal::from((-32442.to_bigint().unwrap()).to_signed_bytes_be()));{code}
I am not sure whether I will have time to work on this before 1.11.1. Any help
is welcome!
