That release should include the fix
<https://github.com/apache/avro/commits/branch-1.12/?after=9110c693767c1dde2665b2b57939333478b12036+69>.
Maybe you can check out the RC and see if it fixes the issue on Quarkus,
and let us know on the VOTE thread.
