First, I'm Henning and I have been working on the container model used by
Google Cloud Dataflow. I hope to contribute to the Beam portability effort
leveraging some of that knowledge.
I'd like to propose a container contract for the SDK harness in the Fn API
model [1]. The proposal in particular details how a runner should start SDK
harness containers, which will allow progress on developing concrete
containers for each SDK (such as BEAM-2600).
