Aloha Christofer & all, I completely agree with this. When I published a post a few days ago, I noticed that many Apache projects already have their own LinkedIn pages.
The only concern is that we may not be able to maintain active two-way engagement across multiple communities. The LinkedIn page might therefore function mainly as a one-way channel, similar to a WeChat Official MP Account (微信公众号), used to sync content from our blog. Also, our website currently doesn’t have an OG image configured. This is something we should add soon, as it will help improve how our content is displayed when shared on LinkedIn and other social media platforms. If everyone agrees, I’d be happy to help move this forward and serve as one of the admins. By the way, today is Chinese New Year’s Eve. Wishing everyone a Happy Lunar New Year — 新春快乐!
