The following options seems to be speeding up Spark build: MAVEN_OPTS="-Xmx2g
-XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=512m -XX:PermSize=1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=1024m"
I suggest we add them permanently to the do-component-build
