https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-1136 The Security/Authentication stack should probably be integrated somewhere into bigtop, but im not sure how or where to start. Maybe some initial comments on the above JIRA would help. I've written up one simple way to unifie UID/GIDs in using the JumpBox EC2 appliance here : http://jayunit100.blogspot.com/2013/12/an-easy-way-to-centralize.html .
