I converted BIGTOP-1432 to a subtask of this one to reflect the fact they are
related.
Will BIGTOP-1420 be solved with hbase 0.98.5? The reason I am asking is that
0.98.6 planned for Sep 10th and I want to make a release candidate for 0.8 over
the weekend.
