[~warwithin] okay, one final thing: a very easy rebase needs to be done for
this patch to apply on top of the kafka commit.. when i tested, i was 2 commits
behind .. , would you like to resubmit ? its a very easy fix, just have to
merge the following lines and reupload the patch :)
