Hi, Dagang, My understanding is that bigtop_utils provides "helper" tools by script, say bigtop-detect-javahome. That's why there is no need to build them and install them. See: https://github.com/apache/bigtop/tree/master/bigtop-packages/src/common/bigtop-utils
