With the recent updates from Apache Ambari addressing the certificate expiry
issue for Bower Web, the monkey patch applied from the Bigtop side is no longer
necessary. This patch was a temporary fix to address the certificate problem,
but now that Ambari has provided an official solution, it's in our best
interest to revert the monkey patch to maintain consistency and avoid potential
conflicts in the future.
