an IRC meeting is a good option as soon as we have topics to talk about,
but IMHO we should first have a brain storming on the list, which I will
try to contribute to later today. As we increasingly find out IRC
meetings are not really compatible to the fact that people are living in
different time zones and our approach should of course have a global focus.

From my point of view the whole webpage would need a general makeover,
but before discussing content and tools, we will certainly have to talk
about focus, scale and goals we want and that are realistic to achieve.
A minimalistic scale might be 'for consultants from consultants', which
would basically mean making it a place where independent professionals
meet. However, if we can manage to mobilize the resources, we can
certainly cover all kinds of market channels as targets, like SMEs, ISVs
and OEMs, who redistribute OOo and also IHVs, who pre-install OOo with
their products. As well there are geographic issues to be considered as
approaches can be undertaken by country, by language, by region or
globally and there are certainly dependencies to the channels mentioned
above.
So, what do you think? What would it take to move ahead?
And! Who else would like to join in?
