Hi Devs,

I would like to thank you all especially my mentors Branko and Joe for
accepting my proposal in the mentoring programme. I am currently learn
the codemirror(http://codemirror.net/) and will come and integrate it
to Bloodhound to finish the issue
COMDEV-92(https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COMDEV-92).
Unfortunately I have my examinations going on until the end of this
month and so I'm not able to give in my full effort for this month. I
will surely update the progress as my exams are over as the frequency
of checking my mail during examinations is very low.

One more doubt I have is regarding updating the mentors. Should I
update them in this list or as a seperate mail. Please do advice on
this too.

I can't really speak on behalf of your mentors but updates to this mailing list will definitely be appreciated by me. Certainly anything to do with development, which I would expect to be the bulk of your updates, should be very welcome here. As a side effect it should reduce work for your mentors a little and questions you have should be answered quicker. We don't want to see you suffering in silence if you have problems understanding aspects of your task and, as you make progress, we may be able to give you useful feedback.

On the other hand, anything that you feel uncomfortable about going to a public mailing list but does have relevance to the project should be discussed privately with your mentors.

I hope this roughly matches what Brane and Joe want!

Cheers,
    Gary
