After unlocking product edit form (see #669) , I moved forward and submitted patches aimed at fixing this issue but ... this is what I get http://goo.gl/h8WDHe The snapshot of that web page (recorded immediately after submitting product fields) includes this message {{{ Error: Invalid ticket number Ticket 1 does not exist. }}} This means that it is impossible to edit product fields because the system fails to add comment in tickets.
