Some say PyCharm (works with BH issue tracker) , others prefer Eclipse
+ PyDev (works with Mylyn and BH as issue tracker) , others Wingware
IDE (I've never tried it) , ... what I use since long time ago is vim
, and lately I'm becomig a bit fond of pdb

It's up to you to choose one of them .
