+1 (non-binding)

Thanks to the release manager for driving this release.

I recently joined the BookKeeper community and am still getting familiar with
the release process, but I wanted to help validate this release candidate.

I checked the 4.18.0-rc1 artifacts and did not find any blocking issues. I
verified the source and binary checksums/signatures, confirmed the release tag,
built the source package with JDK 17, and checked representative staged Maven
artifacts.

I also started the binary package in standalone mode and ran a few basic
BookKeeper CLI flows, including listing bookies, checking bookie info, writing
and reading entries with sanity commands, and checking basic cluster metadata.

Everything I checked looked good to me.
