How about we use the fact that you can deactivate a profile, a la
`mvn groupId:artifactId:goal -P !profile-1,!profile-2`
could we use that to let us
1. Do without the no-op profile
2. Just disable go-client profile when we didn't want it?
We'd need to make the matching change in brooklyn-dist.
