Hi all, While we're thinking about Apache Brooklyn 1.0 and (in my opinion at least) hoping to generate some media buzz at release time, I wonder if everybody is happy with our logo and visual identity? Our logo is one that was inherited from Cloudsoft when it owned the project. We've never actually discussed this in our community in Apache.
We obviously have a few choices: - Do nothing. The current logo is fine, and combined with our current website design it looks pretty smart. - Devise a new logo (or tweak the current logo) within our community - subject to individuals with the appropriate creativity and graphic design skills! - Commission a new logo, for example from 99designs. This would obviously cost money - a "logo and social media pack" from 99designs would cost £309 for the basic package - so I expect we'd be looking at crowdfunding. What do people think? Richard.
