Tony, Hi. I'll respond to your other points separately. This feature, pulling images from Docker Hub, quay.io, or a local repository, is something we are working on as part of Clocker. The intention is to make it possible to write Clocker blueprints that reference these remote repositories and reuse Docker images from there, as well as pushing Brooklyn entity based images out for re-use across a Docker cloud. I'm hoping to get the first part of this work done in September, and will keep the list updated with the Clocker project status.
