Very useful addition, lgtm
As an improvement, could use a plugin which doesn't depend on external git
(i.e. https://github.com/alx3apps/jgit-buildnumber). On my machine git is not
on the PATH list so ${buildNumber} is not replaced with the SHA (until I
include it).
