The version of Swagger Brooklyn uses is very old, to the point that none of the
tools in the Swagger ecosystem support it. As reported by Ron, part of the core
Swagger team, on IRC:

based on the exposed spec, but since it's 1.0, the support for it is very
limited. plus it would be nice to see an updated version of it.

None of the supporting tools in the swagger eco-system have support for that
version anymore. We recently released 2.0 which is a big leap from 1.2 and
we're not working on the supporting tools around it. I think once that's done,
you should definitely migrate to it.{quote}
