The Apache Brooklyn PMC are very pleased to announce that the ASF board has approved our graduation from the Incubator, making us a top level project:
https://blogs.apache.org/foundation/entry/the_apache_software_foundation_announces83 We are very proud of the work that our community has done to bring us to graduation. Our time in the incubator has given us the opportunity to grow the project, both its community and its code. Users of Brooklyn can now be confident that this is a project that is going to be around for a long time to come. We’d like to thank every one of our contributors - from those committing large amounts of code right down to asking a single question on the mailing list, your contribution has been valuable in adding features and increasing the quality of Apache Brooklyn. The quality of Brooklyn is now reflected in the fact that cloud service providers Canopy and Virtustream have shown their confidence in our work by building product offerings that use Apache Brooklyn at the core. There will be some changes over the coming days and weeks as we move from the Incubator to our own top level project. This will impact things like the name of the mailing lists and the source code repository. These will be clearly announced on the mailing list and we'll try and keep the disruption to a minimum. Thanks again to everyone for what you have done for Brooklyn :-) Apache Brooklyn PMC
