Hi all,
For years now, we have been recommending use of BuildStream 2.x and
accepting patches to make BuildStream 1.x continue to work but not
officially supporting it, either by fixing bugs or working around
changes in python and dependency libraries.
Nobody is asking for BuildStream 1.x support and we are finding issues
with trying to get it to work with newer versions of Python and
versioneer.
This is just a formal message to announce that we are taking
BuildStream 1.x off life support finally.
