Thanks for the clarification Vladimir! Personally, I am fine with the current behavior. I thought it is worth sharing since there may be people who think that ./gradlew prepareVote does everything.
Correct me if I am wrong, but even if the test task was part of the prepare task the tests are not going to be executed twice, if they did run before. In that sense adding test task as prerequisite of prepare would be merely a reminder.
