Types.NULL not handled in AbstractCursor

Hi,
 
Is there any explanation for missing handling of Types.NULL in 
AbstractCursor.createAccessor()? I have a query which includes NULL in the 
projection (eg, select 1 as x, NULL, ...) and this is causing an exception.
