Apache Calcite's Project Management Committee (PMC) has invited Fanyuan Qiu to become a committer, and we are pleased to announce that they have accepted.
Fanyuan Qiu has pushed various high quality contributions to Calcite over the past few months. They improved various aspects of sql-to-rel and rel-to-sql conversions enhancing the JDBC adapter and hardening the Oracle dialect. In addition, they addressed issues in metadata handlers and optimization rules.
