I'm Lino. I work at Narrative building a data collaboration platform powered by our SQL dialect, **NQL**. We leverage Calcite under the hood to compile **NQL** to execution engines like Spark and Snowflake. We're looking for someone with experience in query compilers or execution systems. Ideally with Calcite or similar query execution system. The role focuses on evolving our NQL compiler, improving view maintenance, building privacy controls, optimizing query planning, and more. We're a small, remote-first team. Each of us has made contributions to Calcite, and we don't see that changing. Which is why we're posting here, hoping to reach people who are comfortable with Calcite and that can make deeper, more meaningful contributions over time both upstream and to our codebase.
