working on issues to get us towards 1.27.0.
Would the community be able to look at the following issues?
- Please review and merge CALCITE-7175 in the Calcite repo

- Please review https://github.com/apache/calcite-avatica/pull/292
- Please review https://github.com/apache/calcite-avatica/pull/285
- Comments on https://github.com/apache/calcite-avatica/pull/294 and
https://github.com/apache/calcite-avatica/pull/287 would also be
appreciated to find the best way forward.

We should do a CVE scan, and update the usual suspects (Jetty, Netty,
Protobuf...) to the latest maintenance releases.
But first we need to update the OWASP plugin again as the current one
cannot read the current DB.
I will do that and open tickets as necessary in the next few days.
There are no other blockers on my radar.
