I don't think this is an issue. since the example's project version will be
updated when we did the release.
And let the example dependents on the current SNAPSHOT vesion could help us to
make sure the snapshot changes don't broke the unit tests of example.
If the use wants to try out the example, he could choice the released version
of example instead of the SNAPSHOT one.
