Chuck Adams commented on CAMEL-2706:
------------------------------------

useStderrOnEmptyStdout perhaps? A bit wordy, but descriptive. Perhaps
fallbackStderr?

> option to exec component to not use stderr when stdout is empty

> When the camel exec component gets no output on stdout, it returns the
> contents of stderr when performing its standard string conversion. Could an
> option be added to exec: urls to suppress this behavior, so that when stdout
> is empty, it remains empty regardless of stderr? IMHO suppressing it should
> be the default behavior, since one is rarely able to treat stderr's content
> the same as stdout except for simple cases like logging, but as long as the
> option is available, I'll take it either way.
