Hadrian Zbarcea commented on CAMEL-1350: ---------------------------------------- Thanks a bunch Steve, awesome contribution. This is a complete rewrite of the camel-quickfix component. For once the scheme is not {{quickfix:}}, but {{quickfixj:}}. Steve mentioned that he's not very keen on having quickfixj, but it is an important distinction, as users usually think of the cpp version without the 'j'. My preference would be to drop the 'j', and use quickfix and use this as an in place replacement of the old component, but that would also mean it won't be backwards compatible. The migration should be easy though, the uris would have to change. Otherwise we'd have two quickfix components and camel has a huge number of components as it is. I would highly appreciate your thoughts and will hold of on committing this for some 8 hours. If no comments by the end of the day, I will commit this with the quickfixj to quickfix chanage. (I will leave the prefix for classnames {{Quickfixj}} as is, although it differs from the old one). There is also no difference in the version of the quickfixj-all dependency (1.5.0). Again Steve, many thanks for the contribution. I'll start documenting the changes too, but if you spot any issues, or want to contribute, please let us know. > camel-quickfix component in apache camel distribution >
