I have fixed up the work done by others so it hopefully can be part of Camel
(core or separate component).
The source is available at GitHub https://github.com/pax95/camel-commonj
project depends currently on Camel 2.7.1 (small change to camel-core would be
nice whereas I can remove duplicated code - see attached patch and TODO in code)
To be done -> More tests - please advise on scope.
