Yeah definitely. I think we should pickup this again in next week when
people are back from ApacheCon.
And IMHO that notice should be sent out with 2.9 GA or as a separate
notice before hand.

For this RC1 release I would like for us to get out a word that "hey
community, we would like you guys to give this release a test run
before we do a GA. There is many noteworthy changes such as reduced
Spring deps, overhauled simple language, some API changes in
camel-core, etc.). That all leads up to thinking that a RC was in the
best interrest of the community. So you guys have a chance to spot and
report back any migration pains you may have. Or other issues.
